From police corruption to faked life on Mars, Big Pharma scandals to election suppression, top journalists from the New York Times, Newsday and Scientific American discuss how to report original news using Freedom of Information laws. At this all-star panel, you’ll learn tips, strategies and story-generating tactics on getting access to federal and New York public records.

This event took place on May 10 at New York University, and was held in partnership with the NYU Journalism Department. The moderator was Jessica SeigelNYU adjunct professor and the Deadline Club’s Vice President of Events.
