Student News Live – Black History Month Town Hall w/ Rev. Al Sharpton (DC)

Cheer on the reporters of tomorrow as they moderate a Black History Month discussion with the Rev. Al Sharpton, the civil rights leader who hosts MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” and a nationally syndicated radio show.
Students from high schools and colleges across New York City will ask Rev. Sharpton, the former Democratic presidential candidate, about his perspectives on news and media just weeks into Donald Trump’s second administration.
The Deadline Club is a co-sponsor of the town hall. The event is an initiative of Student News Live, which was co-founded by Deadline Club president Nick Hirshon to empower student journalists.
