Join journalism colleagues—both professionals and students—from across the Northeast region for two days of panels on freelance journalism, getting a job in these times, First Amendment, covering online extremism, investigative journalism and more. The Mark of Excellence Awards, which honors the best in student journalism, will be announced or SPJ Region 1 entrants in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Central/Eastern Pa., Rhode Island, and Vermont.
