Thanks to all those who attended our Holiday Party. We hope to see you next year! Until then, check out some photos from this year's event.

Celebrate the season at the Deadline Club Holiday Party and Board Election on Wednesday December 8, 6 to 9 p.m., at the elegant Salmagundi Club arts club, our home base at 47 Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village near Union Square.

Socialize and reconnect with fellow journalists and make new friends while enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres and complimentary unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks, plus cocktails available for purchase.

During a brief break in the festivities, SPJ/Deadline Club members can vote on the stellar slate of nominees for the 2022 Deadline Club Board of Governors. Click here to view the proposed slate.

Entry is free for all current SPJ/Deadline Club members, and just $15 for nonmembers. If you’re an SPJ-only member, you can RSVP as a free member—then let us know at the event, or at info@deadlineclub.org, that you’d like to be added to our chapter roster (at no extra charge, as our dues are now zero).

Nonmembers who’d like to attend the party for free can do so if they join or rejoin SPJ at spj.org. Just hit the Join tab, indicate you’re joining with a chapter, and choose the Deadline Club, at no extra cost. (If you’ve recently lapsed with SPJ, sign up as a new member.)

SPJ/Deadline Club members enjoy reciprocal privileges at the Salmagundi Club as one of our many benefits (listed at deadlineclub.org).

SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR HOLIDAY PARTY SPONSORS

This year, our holiday party is sponsored by Decrypt. Here’s a note from Decrypt editor in chief Dan Roberts, a Deadline Club board member since 2013:

Decrypt is a crypto news and explainer site that aims to demystify Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the decentralized web. We’re one of the top three crypto news sites by traffic, one of the most trusted voices in the space since 2018, and we ought to be your go-to destination for learning more about this fast-moving and often confusing industry! Decrypt is the best place to start your journey if you’re looking to learn more about crypto. And on a personal note, I truly look forward to seeing everyone from the Club at the holiday party this year.

NYU Langone Health supports the Deadline Club and its holiday party as the premier academic medical center in the region:

NYU Langone Health is a world-class, patient-centered, integrated academic medical center, known for its excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Included in its 360+ locations throughout the New York area are six inpatient locations: Tisch Hospital, its flagship acute-care facility; Kimmel Pavilion, its state-of-the-art healthcare facility, opened in 2018; NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, a dedicated inpatient orthopedic hospital with all musculoskeletal specialties ranked top 10 in the country; Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, a comprehensive pediatric hospital supporting a full array of children’s health services; NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, a full-service teaching hospital and level 1 trauma center located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn; and NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, a 591-bed hospital and level 1 trauma center located in Mineola, Long Island.
