From now through August 19, the Society of Professional Journalists is celebrating its 110th anniversary by offering one-year memberships for only $50 (vs. $75) for pros and $25 (vs. $37.50) for students, recent grads, retirees, and household partners. Pros can even lock in two years of SPJ membership for $110. Additionally, dues for membership in the Deadline Club, the New York City chapter of SPJ, are being waived for those who join or renew/rejoin SPJ through August 19. (Deadline Club members need to belong to SPJ.)
New, renewing, and rejoining SPJ members can all take advantage of this offer. Current members can simply extend for one year (or an option of two years for pros) by renewing during the promo period.
On the SPJ form, please be sure to choose the Deadline Club as your local chapter, at no extra cost.
Current SPJ-only members who do not wish to take SPJ’s special renewal offer can still opt to add a free Deadline Club membership –– good until their regular SPJ renewal date –– by simply notifying us of their interest by August 19 at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Apart from the special, SPJ also offers non-journalist “Supporter” memberships for just $20/year.
If you take advantage of this offer by August 19, you’ll be getting a three-clubs-in-one membership at the lowest cost ever.
