Details About the 2019 Annual Awards Dinner

Maggie Haberman and Brian Stelter - Two veteran journalists with their fingers on the pulse of the turbulent Trump White House will headline the annual Deadline Club Awards Dinner on Monday, May 20, at the Harvard Club of New York

Maggie Haberman

Maggie Haberman, White House correspondent for The New York Times, and Brian Stelter, chief media correspondent for CNN, will team up for the keynote segment of the gala event, which draws more than 200 journalists from the metro area.

Maggie Haberman is a White House correspondent who joined The Times in 2015 and was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2018 for reporting on Donald Trump’s advisers and their connections to Russia.

Before joining The Times as a campaign correspondent, Haberman worked as a political reporter at Politico, from 2010 to 2015. She previously worked at other publications, including The New York Post and The New York Daily News.

 

 

 

Brian Stelter

Brian Stelter is the chief media correspondent for CNN Worldwide and anchor of “Reliable Sources,” which examines the week's top media stories every Sunday at 11 a.m. on CNN. Stelter reports for CNN Media and writes a nightly e-newsletter.

Prior to joining CNN in November 2013, Stelter was a media reporter at The New York Times. Starting in 2007, he covered television and digital media for the Business Day and Arts section of the newspaper. He was also a lead contributor to the “Media Decoder” blog.
