Join us Wednesday, February 10 for a screening of “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism” a no-holds barred documentary that explores the inside story of media giant’s empire. Filmmaker Robert Greenwald investigates FOX News’ take on TV news using commentary from experts, exclusive memos from within the company, and of course, discussion with the man himself, Rupert Murdoch.The 78-minute film includes commentary from media figures including Christiane Amanpour, Tom Brokaw, Jon Stewart, Walter Cronkite, Al Franken, Peter Jennings, Bill O’Reilly, and Dan Rather, politicians, and former FOX News employees. Watch the film in a private screening room at Jimmy’s No. 43, an East Village restaurant, with drinks and food available.
After the screening, stay with us for a lively discussion of the film and the place FOX News has in today’s journalism landscape.
