Helpful Hints
- Let your cover letter speak for you. Explain why you believe your entry is the finest example of journalism in its category.
- Make sure your entry is not unwieldy. We strongly suggest that entries be no larger than 11“x14”.
- Make sure the entry is secure. The entry form should be taped or stapled on front of the entry and the separate parts should be permanently connected.
- Clearly label your tapes and supporting material with entrant’s name, news organization and category number.
- It’s not an entry without a check! If several packages are sent, enclose a check in EACH package for the correct number of entries in that package.
- Sidebars may be included as supporting material.
- Awards Coordinators: Please include a complete list of entries submitted by your organization and include your name and phone number on the entry form. Please make it easy for us to contact you if we have any questions regarding your organization’s entries.
